Golden Hours Senior Services, LLC was established in October 2018 to expand the scope of local senior care options. Melissa Waller, owner and administrator, aspires to provide services that facilitate fulfillment and independence for seniors in the area. “It seemed there were a lot of needs not being met by available services. There are seniors who can take care of themselves well, but they may need help with matters of everyday living, such as household management issues, transportation or resource navigation. That’s where concierge or companion services come in,” Melissa stated.

For seniors needing personal assistance, licensed and experienced team members are available to provide in-home care.  “The caregiver and I meet with the family to ensure it’s a good fit.  It’s important that we know what each senior enjoys and needs and what will improve their quality of life,” Melissa explained. Golden Hours offers an array of services: Companion Services are aimed at fulfilling household management needs: running errands, preparing meals or even transporting seniors to medical appointments, just to name a few. Personal Care Services provide assistance with daily activities, such as mobility, grooming and dressing. Concierge Services fill in the care gaps, as many seniors aren’t comfortable with travel, clerical or business matters. Melissa sees a big need for ongoing social engagement, so Golden Hours offers entertainment and excursion options for those able to get out and about if accompanied.
