AMAZING GRACE CAFÉ & BOUTIQUE

Celebrating its first year in business, the Amazing Grace Cafe & Boutique wants you to know they are open and looking forward to serving you one of their signature dishes. And it’s your choice—eat in, dine outside on one of their charming bistro tables, or take it home to enjoy. They are happy to prepare your food—with a friendly smile!

Marlena Sicillano, owner of Amazing Grace Cafe & Boutique, is originally from Massachusetts and has lived in this area for more than 34 years. Being of Italian heritage means she considers preparing food an act of love and says, “I truly love serving people the very best food possible.”

Marlena says, “At Amazing Grace Cafe & Boutique we treat everyone like family. We take tremendous pride in our menu choices and we love sharing our delicious food with our Guyton ‘family’!”

Hobby to Cafe As with many entrepreneurs, her business has evolved from its first days. Marlena says she originally opened Amazing Grace as a retail boutique, “more as a hobby than a business.” As she says, “First it was a boutique with some coffee for the customers. Then the customers wanted sandwiches. When it got cold out, people wanted soup. Then vegetarians wanted options. More people came in and I needed more seating. Now I have a café!”

By being in touch with what her customers want, Amazing Grace is now a full-time cafe that includes gift items and a small boutique. She continues to adapt the boutique, and the menu choices, to her customers interests. But two customer favorites will always be available, because, she says, “People come from all over for the Whoopie Pies and Rueben sandwiches!”

Boutique The boutique is filled with fun and interesting items for sale. Marlena says the shop is “a little country and a little stylish.” They have a nice selection of inspirational items, which would make lovely holiday gifts. Customers can come to shop or simply browse while they are waiting for their food. You don’t want to miss the adorable soft gingerbread cookies, decorated for the season, and individually wrapped. (A thoughtful teacher gift!)

Warm & Inviting The atmosphere at Amazing Grace is friendly and relaxed. From their charming exterior of bistro sidewalk tables under classic striped awnings, to their cozy seating and church pew adorned with soft pillows inside, you will feel right at home. Children are more than welcome, and child seats are readily available.

In between meals? Then come by and try one of their gourmet coffees, such as vanilla, sugar free vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate, peppermint, caramel, salted caramel, white chocolate, raspberry, and toasted almond (choices differ daily). Pair it with a jumbo muffin (usually blueberry, chocolate chip or banana nut) or one of our delicious bakery items and enjoy a little “me time!”

The comfy, homey feel is because, “We want anyone to come in and feel like they are welcome,” said Marlena, who suggests the café as a perfect place for a group to meet up, and proposes people could gather for bible study or other group activities. She says solo folks are more than welcome because, “It’s also a place to come in and read, or to sit and talk because there is always a friendly person here to listen and we have free Wifi.”

Curbside Pickup Curbside pickup is great for those on the go or for those who simply prefer to “take out” currently. Online ordering for pick up is fast and easy.” All orders are manually confirmed by us directly. Just tell us what you want, and we'll prepare it as fast as we can,” said Marlena. “You can even watch on-screen and find out in real time when your food is ready for pickup. As soon as it’s ready we will bring the food out to your car or you can choose to dine at one of our sidewalk tables.” Of course, you can simply call in your order, as telephone and online orders are both fine. Call in and leave the rest to Amazing Grace!

“We welcome you to eat, drink, and enjoy browsing through our boutique, but most of all, we want you to relax!” Marlena says on the anniversary of their first year, “We love our customers and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your wonderful and continued support.”
