An elegant little gem of a boutique called White Lavender Boutique is situated just south of Rincon in Port Wentworth. Mother/daughter team Mickie Capwell  and Lacie Wiggins own the boutique and have used their talents and experience to bring beautiful clothing and accessories to the women of Effingham and Chatham counties.

Before Mickie retired from Gulfstream, she and Lacie talked about starting an online boutique. Working out of Mickie’s home, the online store was formed in October 2019.

As the business grew, Mickie soon realized they had a great concept. “I just said to my daughter, Lacie ‘We have so much inventory, we should open a store!’” says Mickie. White Lavender Boutique opened its doors in June of 2020 and has been growing ever since.  

White Lavender Boutique carries stylish, classic and on trend women’s clothing and accessories in sizes XS-1X with some extended sizes. Care and detail go into each piece selected to be in the store. Mickie and Lacie want their customers to enjoy the shopping experience while also finding the perfect outfit!

Mickie and Lacie really enjoy working together. They both have a passion for clothes and share a unique ability to spot trends and classic pieces suitable for any event. Lacie says, “Working with my mom is great. We complement each other’s strengths and make a wonderful team.”

They also love being business owners, making their own hours and getting the whole family involved. If you stop in, you may see Lacie’s son or daughter or one of Mickie’s other grandchildren behind the counter. Family members help out on occasion too.

They love collaborating together on styles, the design of the store and working with their customers to help them find just the right items that will make the outfit. Customers can shop in store or online. Everything on their website is available in store. They do offer shipping but also offer curbside pickup for the ultimate in shopping convenience.
