Jimmy is a master contractor, having worked on large scale renovations for many years. Now he has found his passion in the details, leading him to focus primarily on custom residential work. He brings his project management skills and extensive construction experience to every project, large and small.

Updating kitchens and bathrooms, adding new screen rooms, building new decks and patios as well as painting, installing new and repairing existing windows, Moncrief Renovations does it all and more.

Bonded and insured, Jimmy works closely with the homeowner every step of the way. He occasionally pulls Dee in for her attention to aesthetics and design. Working together they find the right solutions to help their clients create their perfect home.

Dee Moncrief Real Estate

As Managing Broker at Sherman & Hemstreet - Southern Georgia Homes, Dee is passionate about helping her clients find the right house or land for home building. She brings a wealth of experience to every transaction and attributes great customer service, consistent communication, and attention to detail to the success of her business.

Dee is all about community, serving on numerous boards and as Vice Chairman at Downtown Development Authority. Working with Montcrief Renovations, Dee brings her extensive knowledge to every project, helping their clients make the design choices that will enhance their homes for years to come.

Moncrief Square Event Venue: 
Cottage -Barn - Garden

The newly opened Moncrief Square event venue is the culmination of all that the Moncrief’s believe in. They took their mutual love of renovations, real estate and community and transformed a downtown cottage into an intimate and elegant venue space.

It started out of their struggle to find a small yet sophisticated venue for their wedding. So they created one by completely renovating the cottage in Springfield. Barn wood and sparkling chandeliers, shiplap walls and 100 year old heart pine floors, they brought it all together to create this beautiful space for the whole community to enjoy.

Moncrief Square is now the premier small venue for weddings, meetings, memorials, workplace events and private parties. The indoor meeting and reception space has tv monitors in each room and the outdoor space boosts covered seating and a fireplace with an additional television over it. Perfect for hosting a “Game Day” event!
