Thank You for Staying Protected Effingham!

With the onset of COVID-19 in 2019, health safety and protection became a paramount issue. As a result, items that were once in large quantities on store shelves quickly became scarce. Hand sanitizer was one such commodity. With such high demands, many companies switched production gears to fill the need. However, consumers quickly learned that all hand sanitizers are not equal and quality matters.

On-The-Spot, a high-quality hand sanitizer producer and distributor, works hard to be the first-rate in the industry by creating an effective and pleasant sanitizing experience. Not only is their product FDA listed, but it also doesn't leave behind a sticky residue on your hands.

In August of 2021, Ready2CONNECT (R2C) secured five pallets of high-quality sanitizer to distribute to families they serve through their essential toiletry pantry and share with partnering agencies during these challenging times. One of R2C's partner companies, Royal Restrooms, agreed to courier three pallets to Effingham County and two pallets to their office in Chatham County for partner pick up. As a result, R2C served twenty partner agencies over two days.

After a successful distribution, in October of 2021, Ready2CONNECT received a call from On-The-Spot for a 100-pallet donation of hand sanitizer. With community-wide support, 58 different groups were served, including organizations, businesses, and churches.

“Our community is grateful for such a substantial and beneficial in-kind gift from On-The-Spot. I truly didn't realize the magnitude of the donation until I visited the warehouse. This distribution truly requires a community and team effort." – Destiny Bradshaw, Ready2CONNECT Executive Director.

Thank you to the City of Rincon, Mayor & Council, Administration, and the Director of Rincon Public Utilities Department, Tim Bowles & LaMeisha Hunter Kelly, Executive Director, Strategic Business Development and Governmental Relations for Effingham Health System, for your support and guidance with the distribution.

"Small non-profits can’t often reciprocate the support to businesses they rely on to assist families they serve. This donation is an opportunity for us to give back to the community of partners that support us. It also allows us to connect with churches and organizations that we haven’t worked with before. The connections are a blessing in more ways than I could have imagined."- Destiny Bradshaw, Ready2CONNECT Executive Director.
