This quaint and spacious spot offers a great breakfast along with lunch daily. The counter staff is always ready to help with your menu choices. Paddles isnโt just a coffee shop; it stands out with its freshly created pastries and lunch items. Choose from various coffee options, whether you prefer a fresh drip, a frothy cappuccino, or a smooth macchiato. And donโt miss their specials, featuring playful names like frosted cookies and snow-conuts that capture the essence of each season.
When it comes to cold beverages, Paddles offers a refreshing selection, including iced flavored coffees, frappes, and smoothies. Although the breakfast menu may look light, they create great daily interesting specials, like the โHomebodyโ breakfast bagel, a double egg, bacon and cheese topped with tomato, onion and cream cheese, all served on a Asiago bagel. All I have to say is YUM!
The menu for lunch is pretty straightforward, with many favoritesโsoups, salads, and sandwichesโeach served with a beverage of your choice.
The read difference is that everything is made with love and care, making your dining experience special. Donโt miss out on the chance to start your day at Paddles!

Run by two sisters, Kelly and Lizzie, this family-owned spot is a testament to their hard work and dedication. With eight years of experience, they've managed to create a place that's always buzzing with activity. Their success is about to reach new heights as they are set to be featured on Americaโs Best Restaurant, a testament to their culinary skills and the unique dining experience they offer.
It doesnโt matter if you choose lunch or dinner; both choices are amazing. A bistro-style pub has a very open dining concept, with the bar taking up one dining room wall and a long high top in front of it. The atmosphere is lively and casual, perfect for a family outing or a casual meal with friends. A menu of plenty, assorted bar-style appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and soups, including dinners fit for a kingโa family-friendly spot for the kiddos offering choices for even the fussiest eater.
108 is my go-to spot when I am in the mood for a great burger, with over 10 different exciting choices and a monthly special you canโt go wrong. This place is always hopping, so be prepared to wait for a seat but the service is fast, so it wonโt be long till you are seated and enjoying some great food.

Let me tell you, it's worth getting there early. We arrived at 11:45, and the line was already out the door, with all the tables inside filled and just a few openings on the outside porch. But here's the catch - the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Becky and Donna, the working owners, learned all about cooking from their mom at a young age, and it shows in their simply great food. Everything is created to order and is quite good. They offer amazing desserts made on-premise by their pastry chef, including all the bread featured on their sandwiches. You can even purchase a loaf or two on your way out. All menu choices are created with freshness in mind, not to disappoint. The grilled chicken sandwich was excellent, tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. Everything comes with a side of choice; I had their fried potatoes (French fries); they were the best I ever had, with a nice crispy outside. And the best part? After looking at the pastry choices, I couldn't resist having dessert. I tried the flourless chocolate tort.
It was perfect!

You're in the south so BBQ is a mainstay here. The Rusty Pig, also known as โBBQ with an Attitudeโ offers just that. This is a family owned spot incorporating all their family secrets. With two restaurants and a mobile food truck, they keep it hopping.
Everything is made fresh, meaning it starts very early for the smokers. Donโt let the outside fool you, it sits on the corner of a group of shops but what is on the inside that counts. Choices of many. The pulled BBQ pork is amazing, you can get plates that come with one or two sides. Most choose the potato salad having a hint of mustard along with plenty of chopped egg. I personally like it all. The BBQ brisket was fantastic. II enjoyed it with two sides, which was more than I could eat, so I was able to take home a treat for later. Their menu is one of plenty, there are sandwiches, wraps, burgers and salads.
Something that is a staple of the south is Brunswick stew, a combination of bbq pork and bbq chicken accompanied with fresh vegetables, beans, potatoes, and tomato in a rich chicken based broth. Keeps you wanting more every time.
Now to kick it up a notch, they offer this served over a bed of mashed red potato. Now just about everyone makes chicken wings, but not like thisโฆ..They are smoked!! Making them crispy and delicious.
Lets not forget the kiddoโs, there is something for the lighter eaters, grilled cheese, chicken tenders and even petite BBQ sandwiches. Now if that's not enough you can shop for an assortment of sauces and even get your swag on with a t-shirt or hat.
