“There’s nothing more important to me than my family and my community.”

That is the bedrock of Ashley Boyette’s approach to life. As a longtime Effingham County resident and successful State Farm Insurance agent , she sees her role as one of a trusted community member who works every day to protect families and plan futures. 

A local business owner since 2012,she is active as an Effingham County Chamber of Commerce Member,Effingham County Rotary Club Member and Effingham Women in Business Member.

𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.”My husband and I decided that we wanted to start a local program to teach kids the importance of being active and strong. We have been training kids at Empire Gym, who we also partnered with to have strongman competitions for kids.” She says, “ Our children are so much stronger than we could imagine. One thing you can always count on is that kids will make you smile and feel young again!”

𝐀𝐬𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐲’𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.  She and Thomas have been married for fifteen years and have two sons , Jackson, 15 and Liam, 10. She says, “ My family drives me to do all the things I do each day. It has always been important to my husband and I to raise our children to love like Jesus. We make sure our actions each day reflect this principle.” Instilling a work ethic is also important because “ I want to show my sons that if you work hard you can achieve anything you want in life and we prove this to them daily.”   

𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦’𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥. She states,”Without customers we have no business. We truly feel like our customers are family. We work each day knowing that customers choose us.”

They also keep it simple, including taking a few minutes to sit with customers and simplify insurance policies. “ We always lead with what is best for our customers, putting their needs above ours.”

𝐒𝐡𝐞  𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞’𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 (𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞). After being in the industry for  years , Ashley has faced many challenges which have given her the opportunity to learn how to react in a crisis. “From large hurricanes to horrific auto accidents, I have seen and dealt with it. I know that I am a great source  of knowledge and comfort to those in peril, “ she says, “I also have a vast network of people that can help and that sets me apart from the rest of my peers.” Ashley is willing to do whatever she can to help her customers.She says, “The vision of my agency has always been to protect families and plan futures. That is what I'm here to do so reach out and let’s work together.”
